Memorials and Honorariums
A gift in memory or in honor of a special person in your life may be made to Community Garden Kitchen.
Please consult your tax or legal advisors to assist you in this method of giving.
Giving a gift of appreciated securities, such as stocks, bonds, or mutual funds, may allow you a deduction for the current market value on the date of the gift and possibly avoid capital gains tax.
Gifts of real estate will allow you to receive the maximum tax deduction allowed by law, bypass capital gains tax, provide you an opportunity to establish a gift that provides an income for life, and make a significant donation.
You can gift our organization by designating Community Garden Kitchen as beneficiary of your policy. You may also choose to transfer the ownership of the cash value of a life insurance policy.
Irrevocable Bequests (Wills & Trusts)
An irrevocable bequest provision in your will or trust will allow you to make a major gift to our program without reducing your current income.
Charitable Gift Annuities
A charitable gift annuity can provide payments to you for life and then support Community Garden Kitchen. Deferred gift annuities allow the option to make the gift today and receive the annuity later in life.
Charitable Remainder Trusts
These gifts allow you to make a substantial gift and receive income from the trust.
