seed-project-logoCommunity Garden Kitchen was proud to be chosen by The Seed Project Foundation to partner for 2016-2017!

The foundation lead the initiative to help CGK raise funds to build a kitchen on campus of Holy Family School that will help provide healthy meals to anyone in need in our community. We all have a shared belief that nutritious food should be available to everyone and no one should go hungry.

What is The Seed Project Foundation?

The Foundation, chaired by restaurateur Rick Wells, funds educational, agricultural and community initiatives that support sustainability. Sustainability is a social challenge that improves the current quality of life without compromising future generations.

We have enjoyed working with The Seed Project Foundation, Rick’s Chophouse and Harvest Seasonal Kitchen in our effort to build our kitchen and feed our community. We are thrilled and grateful — thank you Seed Project Foundation!

Harvest Seasonal Kitchen hosted 4 “Supper With a Cause” evenings.  A portion of all the restaurant (dinner) proceeds during went directly to The Community Garden Kitchen’s building fund. Thanks for your support!  Harvest Seasonal Kitchen is located at 112 E. Louisiana in downtown McKinney.
