CGK chosen by The Seed Project Foundation <br>as its 2016-2017 partner

seed-project-logoWe are excited to announce that Community Garden Kitchen as been chosen by The Seed Project Foundation to partner for 2016-2017!

This means the foundation will lead the initiative to help CGK raise funds to build a kitchen on campus of Holy Family School that will help provide healthy meals to anyone in need in our community. We all have a shared belief that nutritious food should be available to everyone and no one should go hungry.

What is The Seed Project Foundation?

The Foundation, chaired by restaurateur Rick Wells, funds educational, agricultural and community initiatives that support sustainability. Sustainability is a social challenge that improves the current quality of life without compromising future generations.

We look forward to working with The Seed Project Foundation, Rick’s Chophouse and Harvest Seasonal Kitchen to build our kitchen and feed our community. We are thrilled and grateful — thank you Seed Project Foundation!

The Partnership kicks off with a great event!

From October 24-29, Harvest Seasonal Kitchen will host “Supper With a Cause”. A portion of all restaurant (dinner) proceeds during those dates will go directly to The Community Garden Kitchen’s building fund. Come have dinner and be a kitchen builder! Harvest Seasonal Kitchen is located at 112 E. Louisiana in downtown McKinney.
