The Ultimate Gift happens once a year for YMSL of Lovejoy, and we at CGK are so honored to have been chosen.

Thanks to this year’s coordinator, Camille Simpkins, who did an amazing job of organizing the moms and son for the event.  October 15th and 16th, the YMSL worked through the heat and rain to build out the central walkway through the Globe Life Garden at the Kitchen and complete another section of the garden plan.  There were 4 groups on Saturday, working in 2 hour shifts from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, and on Sunday 2 groups working from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm.  Under the supervision of garden captains, Ron Poen, Randy Robnett, Lance Alston, and Brett Amundson, the moms and their sons worked together to complete their goal of doing something incredible for others.
