December 6, 2019 made history for our organization as we broke ground for our kitchen with more than 200 people in attendance.
We would like to give a huge thank you to everyone who attended, volunteered, donated and supported Community Garden Kitchen! Food for sack lunches was donated by Market Street grocery store & donated to Samaritan Inn.
We recognized two generous donations at the groundbreaking: Raj and Lori Bhargava, along with Manner Polymers staff, presented a $100,000 gift to the kitchen. And, The Episcopal Foundation of Dallas, presented $60,000 to Community Garden Kitchen.
